ABC Commercial has announced additional sales of their most successful format to date, You Can’t Ask That, following the reveal of their impressive new-to-market slate for 2020. The success of the format continues to grow with new deals for Poland (Series 1 for TTV & TVN International), Spain (Series 3 for Tele Madrid), Norway (Series 3 for NRK) and options across several Asian countries (Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong).

The ten international versions of the show are a testament to the power and flexibility of the format. ABC Commercial Sales Manager, Katherine McMillan believes “You Can’t Ask That can’t be ignored, it’s a standout program that attracts younger and elusive audiences and is incredibly cost effective to make. With its universal themes and unique ability to explore our differences, it’s no wonder the show has performed so well internationally”.

An innovative series offering audiences an intimate glimpse into the lives of people society rarely gets to hear from, You Can’t Ask That features participants from all walks of life, with each episode focusing on a different minority or sub-cultural group. The ABC has recently announced broadcast dates for series five of this much-loved show including some fascinating new topics featuring nudists, kids, people who have killed and people that are HIV positive.
