'Hey Hootabelle' Wins Screen Music Award For Best Original Song Composed For The Screen

Lior's enchanting song 'Hey Hootabelle' composed for Giggle & Hoot won the prestigious award at the 2012 APRA/AGSC Screen Music Awards held in Melbourne (19 November, 2012).

Lior acknowledged the efforts of ABC TV’s 'Giggle & Hoot' team, including Jan Stradling, Natalie Robinson-Hurst and Clare Gerber, as well as the support of ABC Music Publishing and Mushroom Music.

Marianna Annas, Manager ABC Music Publishing, congratulated Lior and said 'We believe that the show’s true star is its wonderful music. This award is especially significant as it recognises excellence in composing a song for the screen, irrespective of its particular style or genre.'

'Hey Hootabelle' is Lior's second Giggle & Hoot hit, the first being 'Hoot’s Lullaby', the show’s signature song.
