ABC Commercial programs nominated for writing awards

 

Four programs from ABC Commercial’s Content Sales catalogue have been nominated across a variety of categories in the 2015 AWGIE Awards, the peak industry awards held each year through the Australian Writers Guild (AWG) for excellence in performance writing.

TELEMOVIE – ORIGINAL - Redfern Now Telemovie - Promise Me - Steven McGregor

TELEVISION: MINI-SERIES – ADAPTATION - The Secret River - Jan Sardi & Mac Gudgeon

COMEDY – SITUATION OR NARRATIVE - It's A Date: Series 2, 'Worst Thing' - Phil Lloyd with Peter Helliar

ANIMATION - The New Adventures of Figaro Pho: 'The Fear of Zombies (Romerophobia)' - Bruce Griffiths

This year marks the 48th year of the awards, and the winners will be announced on Friday 11 September 2015.
